"Helping families and communities prevent and cope with infant and young child loss, one baby step at a time"

Where John’s Charity money goes

During the last 6 years that the John’s Charity has been established, here are a few things we have been able to do with the funds are:

~We have put 22 Defibrillators (AEDs) into 9 area school districts.  This includes having one in each building and at least one to travel with sporting events.
Including: Adel-De Soto-Minburn, Nodaway Valley, Guthrie Center, Panorama, Van Meter, Winterset, Dallas Center-Grimes, Woodward-Granger, West Central Valley,

~We continue the upkeep the replacement pads and batteries every two years for the infant pads and every five years for the adult pads. If a set of pads has been opened and used we will replace them also.

~We have provided infant and small child CPR and First Aid training to over 100 people on a Free Will Donation Basis from a Certified American Heart Association Trainer.

~We have provided keepsakes to over 150 families going through a loss. Including, but not limited to, hand and foot print molds and ink prints.

~We have honored Angels at our events and named a Star after each of them. And we will continue to remember each of these Angels in years to come.

THANK YOU to all of you that has made this possible!

We are always looking for feedback and/or suggestions on how else we can help families and communities prevent and cope with infant and young child loss.  Please do not hesitate to contact us with any input you may have!

Thanks for taking the time to visit John’s Charity’s website!
