Thank you to everyone for the amazing support for our 10th John D Gomke Charity Classic! Because of you we were able to raise over $7,000 this year.

If you are registered your packets are ready to be picked up at the Adel Public Library:
(if you register after noon, your packet will be ready by noon the next day)
Thursday, October 3rd from 10:00am 7:00pm
Friday, October 4th from 10:00am 5:pm
You can also pick-up your packet Saturday morning from 7:00am to 8:00am at Kinnick-Feller Park.
If you are running the 5K Race:
~Your BIB number is in your bag, please make sure you bring that with you. We will have safety pins with the timing chips for you.
~Please allow adequate time to get your chip Saturday morning. There will be several people picking up their packets and chips that morning. We suggest being there no later than 7:45.
If you are walking in the Mile Memory Walk:
~You do not need a BIB number.
~If you have not picked up your packet, please arrive by 7:45.
Bring the family! There will be kids activities, including fire truck from Redfield Fire Department, Ambulance from Dallas County EMS, face painting by Ida Gregory, kids craft presented by Girl Scout Troop #468 & #505 and bounce houses (weather permitting).
EVENT
8:15 we will start the Angel Presentation. As we gather, we ask for the activities to be put on hold and all our attention be on remembering our Angels.

National Anthem sung by Amy Short (activities will resume once National Anthem is sung)
Shot Gun Start of 5K Race & Mile Memory Walk
Kids Fun Run (after the last 5K participant crosses the finish line)
Awards & Door Prizes
We will have Johns Baby Steps rain or shine! Remember it has rained almost every year the morning of this event. Sometimes right up to the start. Our Angels just want us to know they are watching over us as we come for them!

The day has arrived and in just a few short hours we will be together. It may be a little cool. It may be a little wet. But we will still be there!
We will not have the bounce houses for the kids. Though we will still have face painting, a craft and fire and rescue vehicles.
