"Helping families and communities prevent and cope with infant and young child loss, one baby step at a time"

Thank doesn’t say enough…

Most who know me well, know I believe God has bigger plans for John and that is why he needed him more than he felt we did here on Earth ? (Even though I completely disagree with him on this) And I pray everyday that we are doing what we are suppose to do to make those “bigger plans” happen. And that we are making John proud ???????. So, as I think about this morning’s 10th John’s Baby Steps ? I reflect on several things. Yes it rained ?. No things didn’t go as planned?. But as I sit back I think about the Angel families that are entrusting us to remember their Angels?. I think about the partners that believe in us enough to help fund our mission. I think about those who show up every year, no matter what,in one way or another ?. I think about those who joined us for the first time this year, whether they where there to honor a precious Angel, or participating in their first 5K or signed up to volunteer and didn’t know much about John’s Charity (I apilogize if you still don’tknow much since we rushed with the rain). I pray everyone left with their heart full. I hope each person took something away that will help them when they are faced with someone they care about who is one of the 1 in 4. I love seeing the support that our families have that surround them with love and get them through each day. I love hearing about each Angel, their story and meeting their families. I love that even with a forecast that is not favorable and rain coming down, it clears up every year to say our Angel’s names outloud. I love so many people still show up even when the weather isn’t ideal. And I pray this is part of his plan. I am in awe that we are in our 10th year and had 95 more registrations than we have ever had before. I am humbled by all the Angel families and partners who believe in us. Thank you to everyone for reminding me this morning, that we are making progress in his “bigger plan”. We could not do ot without every one of you ? From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
